Description:
Built by Sic from a second hand CRT monitor and a synthetic brain that visibly pulses, Stevie is one of the first Echoes to achieve partial sentience. Its loud, twitchy, but loyal to the Syndicate.
When deployed, Stevie engages any nearby threat (authorities or “karens”) using a series of visual and auditory disruptions. Its screen displays either a hypnotic spiral that stalls onlookers in a trance-state, or a high-lumen white glow to light up pitch-dark alleys and underpasses for clean, uninterrupted tagging.
Stevie floats but to save energy he is often put in sleep mode and carried by Mule in between locations.
Core Functions:
- Hypno Loop: Emits a spiral visual on screen, rendering aggressors disoriented, stunned, or completely still. Duration depends on target's mental resistance.
- Nightlight: Emits ambient white glow from screen to illuminate dark zones.
- Distraction Protocols: Screeches, stutters, and flickers violently to draw attention away from Syndicate activity.
- Psychic broadcast (Rare): In moments of high stress, may autonomously project hallucinatory broadcasts to confuse pursuers.
Behavioral Notes:
- Responds to nickname “Tee.”
- Mildly unstable but never hostile to Syndicate members.
- Appears to enjoy music and will occasionally blast old skool hip hop when left idle.
